Honda CBR 250R More Powerful Gliding in India

Delhi, KompasOtomotif - Honda CBR 250R is ready to launch a version of the model change or a minor facelift in India next week (March 2012). Consumers can have a variety of options, both in appearance and power. This breakthrough to offset the new rival KTM Duke 200 with the official launch more competitive and almost equal ability. Although of very different appearance, and CBR Duke supermoto style full fairing, but Honda remain vigilant.

To view, CBR 250R facelift with new color choices are offered, one Blue-White-Red. The quality of plastic used has been improved. Finally, do the ECU remapping resulting in "setting" more powerful engine, but more efficient. Although not mentioned how big a change.

But as information, Honda CBR 250R old 250 cc single-cylinder engine powered the PS 25.35, just like those of Duke 200. Torque of 23 Nm is superior. However, the net weight of 167 pounds, too heavy compared to the Duke of 136 kg. Consumers certainly hope the CBR power can be larger by a change in the ECU mapping.

Honda actually still have other features as value-added, Combi Brake System (CBS) which can be owned by consumers as an additional package. In addition to marketing the CBR 250R facelift starting next month, Honda will offer a package of re-setting the ECU is on the consumer before the CBR 250R. It's easy, just add some money 3000 Rupe (Rp558.000).

Is PT Astra Honda Motor India is also willing to follow the lead of the CBR 250R?!
